Educated: A memoir book cover

Educated by Tara Westover is a great book to read year-round. This book has a great plot and will always keep you on the edge. It’s overall a great book to read to keep yourself entertained throughout the school year or summer!

Tara Westover is a young girl who lives on the mountain with her parents. Being young and naive, she doesn’t realize that her parent’s beliefs and being isolated from the world are a disaster. This story takes you along her journey of becoming mature and grown up, as she faces many challenges that come and go through her life.

This book has a great balance of mysteries and surprises because you never know what is coming from throughout her story. This Memoir gives readers many great learning lessons that they can take on with them. In the end, giving this book a read will not disappoint you!

The Body in the Woods by April Henry is a thrilling mystery book that will keep you on the edge of your seat at all times. This book starts out about a missing person’s case, however, soon enough you find out there is much more to this chilling mystery. The characters Alexis, Nick, and Ruby are all very different people. But, when these three join the Portland County Search and Rescue to search for a lost man in the woods, they discover something much more shocking. putting their friendship into danger and bravery they set off to uncover this problem.

All in all April Henry is a great author and her book The Body in the Woods is a perfect read at any time of the year. If you are looking for a book that will get you hooked, this is the perfect book to read!

Flipped by Wendelin Van Draanen is a short, easy to read book. It’s about two neighbors, Julie Baker and Bryce Loski. Ever since the day Bryce moved into her neighborhood in second grade, Julie has been crushing on him.

As the years go by, Julie has suddenly lost interest in Bryce, and their feelings for each other have suddenly flipped.

Stranger Things is a great show to watch if you are looking for a drama, horror, and mystery-filled show to watch. This show takes place in the 1980s, where you will be introduced to a group of young friends who have a normal life until they start to witness some insane supernatural forces. This young group of friends will discover a series of mysteries as they grow up and connect with a stronger bond. This show goes through a roller coaster of occurrences that will leave you shook! Overall, this is a great show to watch if you want to be kept guessing and at the edge of your seat.

All American is an inspiring and touching family drama about a high schooler named Spencer James. This show is not only based on football, but also on the life of Spencer, his family, and his friends. Spencer finds himself having to face many tough events after transferring from Crenshaw to Beverly hills. He finds himself in many ups and downs throughout his football career in high school. Overall, this is a great show for people looking for shows with drama and sports. Also, This show has a great storyline and will keep you wanting to watch it.

First Man is an American film that displayed the tensions and drama in the years leading up to the famous Apollo 11 mission to the Moon in 1969. It showcases Neil Armstrong and his team of explorers embarking on the renowned mission to first land humans on the Moon.

The adventurous and eager theme of the movie encapsulates a significant part of the movie, leaving the audience enthusiastic about some uncovered mysteries. For space enthusiasts, this movie is bound to leave you with information you had not originally known!

TV Show Review

A Perfect Planet is a TV show that is narrated by the greatly admired David Attenborough. The filming of the episodes of this show took place over four years, across 31 countries, with crew navigating difficulties in extreme temperatures and remote locations.

This journey is not one that the show crew only goes on; rather, every viewer is so captivated by the show that they virtually join the seasonal journey along with the crew!

If you love a thrilling adventure with a plethora of environmental education, then this show is perfect for you!
